What if ... but wait, there's more!
The advent of the spreadsheet in 1978, was the beginning to the end of wondering. Why? It allowed us to answer the questions "What if?". In sales, we ask; "What if our closing percentage went up just 2%?" and in purchasing "What if we could save just 2%?". Every function of the organization can get answers to their questions. Operations, Finance, Accounting, Sales, Human Resources, Customer Service ... all except one.
Where do Leaders go to get the answers to their what if questions?
Asking "If" means changes to something that already exists. In leadership, we are stretching our imaginations and creativity, to navigate to a new vision. We look to the answers of not only what if, but whats next?
How do you, as a leader get those answers? John Maxwell writes about many of the ways in his "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership", but one of them is most appropriate here. It is the "Law of the Inner Circle". Jim Rohn is credited for saying "you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with". Where you spend that time, will help you answer those questions. Your inner circle can be a mixture of business, professional, family, relatives, and friends. How you spend your available time, will determine how you spend your future.
What are your plans for the future? Have you given this much thought lately? Where do you see yourself in 3, 5 and 10 years? If you are a business owner, you need to spend more time in the future than the present. How do you get fresh ideas?
Coaching
As a John Maxwell certified Coach, Trainer, and Speaker, I work with small to medium-sized businesses helping them address this exact issue. What if? What's next? How could we? are the questions we work on with you. When asked what I specifically do when coaching, it is to help YOU, the business owner or executive, find those answers. What is your purpose? Where should your business be expanding? How do you handle a certain issue? These are your day-to-day questions that can not be answered by a spreadsheet, Alexa, Google, or Siri.
One on one coaching is available through a plethora of sources. This is not your only option. I feel that the best way to develop an Inner Circle that you can go to for the what if questions, is through our Mastermind Groups. At Pinnacle Sales, we facilitate leadership, sales, and business owner roundtables, addressing your day-to-day concerns. When you meet in a group setting, with people who you respect and trust, the power of the Mastermind is abundant. Solutions to your biggest problems, can be developed as like-minded individuals work together to solve them.
Our next Mastermind Group is being set up now, starting Tuesday June 6th, at 7:00pm. This will be a virtual group, using video conferencing of no more than 12-members. This will be a 10-session group, that will initially study "Becoming a Person of Influence". As John Maxwell states; "Leadership is influence, nothing more, nothing less". Throughout the 10-weeks we will discuss what influence is, where it is found, and how to increase your influence. We will use your company or organizations issues as topics, and as a group, come up with solutions to your problems. This is a low-cost way to get involved and test the waters in a Mastermind Group.
You can get more information by CLICKING HERE ... information will be emailed to you so you can register. The normal cost of this group is $229, but we are offering a $50 discount if you register before the time the clock runs out!
What's Next for You?
Regardless of how you develop your inner circle, you need to. Find people who compliment your strengths and weaknesses. Look for people who are strong in areas where you fall short. You will find that there are many lonely executives out there just like you. You know you can be better, your organizations can grow faster or more profitably. These people may not live in your community, that is why a virtual group can benefit you. With today's ability to communicate virtually, you can still meet for happy hour or a coffee, with anyone in the world. Do you have questions that need to be answered?
