This comes directly from the John Maxwell Leadership Group. Before you set your goals and resolutions, with whatever system you use, let’s look back at 2023. It may give you insight into what you want to be, do, or have in 2024.
Ask yourself these nine questions, and reflect on what it is to be a leader. You set goals last year, did you meet them? Was there something that came up during the year that you handled well?
In order to be effective, we must work on things that matter. If you are still on holiday break, this is a great time to put a pen to paper, or slap the keys of your keyboard. If you are back to work, we all know this is one of the slowest weeks of the year, so don’t use that as an excuse either. Time to reflect!
9 Questions to ask yourself
What made me proud this year?
What did I learn this year?
Who did I lead this year?
What held me back this year?
Do I still love what I do?
Am I willing to pay the price (again) this year?
What’s the most important thing right now?
What do I need to change?
What is my word for the year?
Happy New Year!
May 2024 be YOUR Best Year Yet!
